Will~n~Bee’z Quilt and Coffee Shoppe was started in November of 2017 with only 250 bolts of fabric. A Unique idea of a quilting shop and a complete coffee shop all together in one space. The goal was to provide Salem with a high-quality quilt shop that carried nice quilting fabrics. We wanted to make quilting classes available to all ages from kids, beginners and to seasoned quiltersand bring back the “quilting Bees” from the past. We also wanted to provide a long arm quilting service so Will~n~Bee’z would be a shop that could provide all quilting needs from designing a quiltto a completed quilt.
Today, Will~n~Bee’z has over 3000 bolts of fabric, rulers, notions, and thread. We offer a full line of classes and workshops for almost any quilting need. Our shop also has an 8’X12’ design board that is available to our customers to help design their quilts. We have special events going on throughout the month, to include guest speakers, classes and even a catered breakfast once a month. The longarm business serviced and quilted over 400 quilts last year andsees no sign of slowing down. The coffee shop thrives with our customers! We have both quilters and non-quilting customers that just want to come in for a great cup of coffee. Steel Bridgecoffee is our coffee of choice and is the only coffee we brew. It comes from our local vendor who is very eco friendly and delivers it to our door fresh roasted.
Will~n~Bee’z is also the founder of the only Quilt of Valor Chapter in Salem. Started in 2018 with only 4 members, the “Salem Star Valor Quilters” now has over 40 members and has presented over 200 quilts to our veterans. Salem Star Valor Quilters is also hosting a Veterans Day Event on November 11 to award 100 Quilts of Valor at the Salem Armory.
